I remember seeing a thread where people offered suggestions on about buying land, stuff to look out for or ask, and land banks to contact. I couldn't find it. I guess it's been long enough for a new one. I'm looking out west. As close as Stephens county and as far as Haskell or Baylor. 150-400 acres depending on county. Thanks in advance for any help.

We financed our places through Capital Farm Credit. Make sure you check for easements, minerals, water & electric availability. Are the fences in good shape. Try to find out about your neighbors before you buy if possible. If you are a first time buyer I suggest you get a GOOD realtor who knows land buying& what you want to help with all the things you need to know upfront.

I know of a place in Haskell.

What's your budget?
