Never tried one for bowhunting, but would love to see the pics of someone's setup if anyone has some. I usually just use my pop-up or ladder stand.
Sometimes I wonder if it will get to the point you bring an attorney with you out hunting.

I don't have pics of one but I've killed many deer out of a ground box blind. We build them 8' long x 6' high x 6' wide. No floor. I've used 2x4 or 2x2 for the frame. The frame is attached to the plywood and not free standing. It is just something to attach each side together with. Use screws and build it at home and take it apart to transport. They are roomy, big enough for 2 people. We cut a cross for the windows. The vertical bar about 12 inches wide and the horizontal bar about 8 inches wide. You shoot through the vertical bar the horizontal bar was just for viewing through.
I'll be building a new one pretty soon and I'll post some pictures then.

would build it just like a regular box blind... floor framed out in 2x4s.....sides framed with 2x2s, instead of having full windows across the front, shorten them way down and make them taller. Like 12"x15" (or several narrower ones spaced out). I would leave the back solid, that way you can lean over, draw back.. then lean back over to the window. Would basically be just like hunting in a groundblind.

I'm going to try and build one this summer. My ideas are:
7x7 or 8x8
Make it an octagon.
Have a vertical window on each side or alternating with a horizontal in between.
Around 5 or 6 ft off the ground.

Look for the gut from Cleburne who posted box blind windows. I think there was a pic in there along with windows they sell for bow shooting with reasonable prices. Good Luck

I made on 7' tall 4' wide and 6' deep It set on top of a 6' tower. made the front all open with a shot thru net across also made the net on door frame so i can open it up in low light times. You can order net online from the company that makes the ground blinds. I don't recall the name but it has a elk with target in back ground. any way we have had all kinds of critter walk up and look at the net they can not see you. paint the inside all black wear black clothing your set. the key is not to let light in the blind

just build a box blind tall enough to stand in, wide enough to get full draw, and make windows like a big cross....

We took 4 sections of ceder picket fence, put some tin across the top, and cut some windows in the sides. It is a little short, but if you use a dove hunting stool, drawing is not a problem. I will post pics next week, after a turkey hunt.
Am I a bow hunter with a rifle problem, or a rifle hunter with a bow problem??? We may never know...
