I did some searching and found some videos using it but not really any reviews. How would you guys say this is for a hog scope. Need a quality day/night scope for shots out to around 250/300 yrds

Not it. The X sight is not a day scope, can be used not good. Most NV scopes will not get out that distances. You will need a very good IR to attach to NV.

I'm running out of time to learn momma's lesson that if you can't say anything nice, well, you know....
As concerns the day/night thing though, it is a better day scope than night scope...

The X-sight is fine in the daytime. In fact, it is a nice day scope. Night time, it is challenged as many digital NV scopes are, the biggest hindrances being illumination, resolution, and magnification. The X-sight certainly may have the magnification and resolution, but you will need to find good illumination. Most illuminators for 250-300 yards are going to illuminate a large area. If you have vegetation or other objects much closer to you than the hogs, they will reflect back a much greater amount of light and make everything behind them appear darker or unseeable. A laser illuminator might be your best option for those sorts of distances with digital NV such as from Luna Optics. So unless you are hunting a large, mowed and well kept field, you are going to need laser illumination more so than IR flashlight illumination.
The ATN gets a bit quirky with higher magnification, giving a jittery appearance, but it might work for your needs.

The ATN X-Sight II 5x20 is a great day scope and pretty good NV scope for the price. for 250 - 300 yars the scope will be only as good as your IR light. Will the IR light that comes with it work out to that distance? NO WAY. will a quality T67 IR light work to that distance on beam? YES Kill shot at 100 yards in thick woods with the stock IR light on Beam at through a good sized gap in the trees to the feeder. 182 yards Day time kill shot video (video is skipped to 6 mins and 30 seconds in) For the price it will do what you want, but it is not a $3,000 starlight Gen 3 Night Vision scope.

Should also disclose the T67 is about 3-5 inches around at the head. which is not only clunky but a pain in the rear to try to weapon mount. Basically a spot light hanging off the gun... I agree with the comments on being able to use a flashlight in standing cover. The Digital scopes reflect back alot of the light, which ends up dimming the image you are trying to light up. A cut in the woods will white out because of the trees along the sides. An open field with short grass will go alot further.

This T67... What makes it reach out? Stronger bulb? Bigger battery?

Just messin' wit you guys. I know a little about illuminators. I used to hand build them Here are a few of the many I have left laying around here. They rest in a backpack in a closet.

I can use my Photon xt with the T38 at that range. I doubt I would shoot anything that far. But like already mentioned above you need an open space for any of those illumination unless you can get one with a tight beam, like suggested. I have no experience with the X-sight. Here is a video of a pig I killed last year. The feeder is 80 yards away. I shoot him about 60-65 yards away. There are other videos on my channel that can show you the white out from the limbs etc. I am sure all scopes would be the same in that aspect. Good luck...

If you're not in a real hurry to get one, Wikibuy has ATN X-Sight II 5-20 Smart Riflescope for $599 with shipping and tax included. Mine is said to be here on the 30th, and I ordered mine not so long ago. Bad thing is that I won't be here when it comes in. I have a feeling it could of been a typo, but who knows. I'll find out when I get back I guess.

I tried one and returned it. Just too bulky and heavy for me, and I didn't like having dead batteries when the hogs arrived. I'm sure they will get better over time.

I got to see one in action Friday night. The WiFi seemed to work great, it has a very clear picture and the features seem to be nice. I sighted it in with just 2 shots as well. The first time it came out of hibernate mode it did lock up. Kind of disturbing, but the rest of the night it worked fine. I do like how it doesn't have the delay that my Photon has when you bring it up to look after the scope is on and say you're walking with it pointed to the ground. The screen stays bright instead of mine having to adjust when you bring it up to shoot. My Photon turns on much faster though since it doesn't have to load all the stuff the ATN has. We got some video of a rabbit with the ATN and the Photon. I think my buddy is going to post them later today. Good comparison of them side by side.
