I wanted to hear the forum's thoughts on a 2 blade rage vs. 3 blade rage.
I've been shooting Rage for almost five years now and absolutely love them. I've mainly shot the original two blade, but I considered switching to the two blade chisel tip or three blade chisel tip. Thoughts?

Most issues I hear about with lack of penetration is with the three blade variety. The two blade leaves a great hole. Why chance it?

The two blade cuts a pretty mean hole. I agree, why take the chance?

No penetration, used what I had on hogs, didn't care about them.

Shot a 200+ pound buck some 5 years back with a 3 bladed Rage. Made a complete pass thru with no trouble, but only two of the blades opened. Luckily found the buck with no blood trail.

I've always been a believer in fixed blade broadheads and that is all I used with my compound bows. I only went to mechanical heads when I started using my crossbow. I chose the Rage heads and that is what I've stayed with. The two bladed I haven't had any problems so far, and thats been about three years now.
