I just got an email that my new build, .308, Crusader custom action, 26 inch barrel, McMillian stock from GA Precision is coming possible by next week. Optics will be NightForce 5.5x25. Wanted to ask what powders are most of you guys using that is accurate. I know that most like to use Varget, RL 15 and IMR 4064. Aren't there any new powders that performed well? Last had a .308 LOD about 15 years ago and used IMR 4064.
My .300 Win Mag is pending.

IMR 4166 and Reloader 16 are a couple others I would check out. if you want to load the heavy weight bullets in the 308 look at 2000MR

+1 on the IMR4166. Also would put Varget and IMR 4064 in the mix as well.

Only ever used Varget for .308. Always figured if it ain't broke, don't try and fix it.
But I get that it's a good idea to have other options, as difficult as some powders can be to find.

IMR 4064 and Varget is about the only thing I have ever used in that caliber other than 7mm08. Like JG said if it ain't broke don't fix it. Both shoot tiny groups.

No personal experience with a 308 in a while but I'd be tempted to try 185 juggs and 2000mr

What bullet do you plan to shoot? It's hard to recommend the right powder when you don't know what bullet you want to shoot.

I'll try from 168 to 208 grains. Sierra, Berger and Hornady ELD. Have not decided which one yet, if it shoots then I'll stick with it. Just ordered an eight pounder of Varget to start with. New build coming on Tuesday.

My .300 Win Mag is pending. Ok im lost??? are you getting The Crusader from GA precision???? cause it shows to be a 23" barrel not 26" on there website?????? or is it a custom build on a GAP action with 26" barrel???? also you need to know what twist you are getting cause thats going to make a difference in what bullet you want to choose from. Also what distances are you planning on shooting cause thats going to make a difference as well????
