Yup, he was pretty drained. I kept him out just a little too long but he bounced back after he got in the truck.

I know the feeling. My 2 year old yellow lab had the "click" moment yesterday with what she was bred for. She was a machine. Fun to watch!

Got to see my new 6 month golden pup in action this weekend. She was a little wary picking up live ones but didn't quit. I just need her to not mouth them so much (it was like she was defeathering them in her mouth) but it was her first time. She did great, even found one on the dead bird command that I was looking in the wrong place. She found it and just sat there looking at me like "Idiot its over here!" Since she is young she kinda does what she wants some times and "come" is a work in progress. I found that beef jerky works well though. Work in progress. haha I love having a hunting dog again and she will grow up to be a great one.
