Glock 26 I carry in the summer glock 19 in the winter. When I take one out of the safe and get the other out I wipe it down and get the lint off of it other than that it's not really messed with.

Sig P226 with TLR-1 on the night stand every night with spare mag. Sig P229 in the nightstand drawer. Sig P238 on the wife's nightstand. Rem 870 hiding in a corner.
I'm prepared, but half those are also for work so they go in and out of the vehicle with me daily and have to be stored somewhere.
226 is cleaned and shot weekly. Shotty cleaned once a year. The others get lubed prob once a month

Mossberg 500 with Express BBs by the bed. Don't care if I blow a hole through my wall as the only other legit person in my house is in the bed beside me.

A traditionalist, I keep a Mossberg 500 at hand. Extended magazine, 18" barrel, side-saddle ammo carrier, Hogue rubberized stock, #4 buck and slugs, loaded alternately.
It ought to do...
yes should do if your trying to blow a hole through every wall in your home with one shot. I switched to a shotgun for home defense after I actually had an intruder. Actually being in the possible position of needing to take someone down under the stress of a hyper-adrenalized situation gave me a new perspective on things. I don't have kids in the house anymore so I don't have to worry about a pass-through situation from a safety standpoint. And I don't give a rip how many walls I might need to repair in the aftermath of an encounter. It is a pump that stays under the bed so I don't worry about being super vigilant about cleaning/maintenance issues. With an automatic pistol I would think regular checks, cleaning and maintenance is always a good idea.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

DP 12 under the bed loaded with #6; Judge in the night stand w/#6; Ruger 380 with Hornady Critical Defense to carry with me; the Judge is also my vehicle weapon of choice when I travel to the big city. Shotgun and Ruger have rounds in the chambers. I clean them after I fire them; wipe 'em down every couple of months.

Bedside and in the truck is a full-size M&P 9mm, 17+1 Rem HTP 9mm +P 115gr JHP. Am considering Shield and several others for an LTC weapon at some point.

I hope nobody breaks in your place because they arent going far without some lead in them.LOL I think I am a sicko like BigPig. Kind of. My HK45c stays on the bed with me at night. Yes on the bed. And yes a few times a week I do dry fire it while watching TV. I only clean it after every second range trip other than to wipe the powder off the nose. Its my do all pistol. Hunt, plink, carry and home.

Yep, at least once a week sometimes more I check mine, drop mag, work the actions, dry fire, wipe down/clean lint dust as needed. Oil when they need it. I also practice drawing from the holster, trigger finger control, and sight picture.
M&p 45 with light by the bed, 38 in the drawer, 12ga in the closet, either a para elite carry 3,inch 1911 or sig 938 on my hip both in FFR owb holsters during the day, and a 380 by my chair at night.issued a m&p 9mm, but it stays in the car as I can carry a weapon of my choice. Non uniformed so I choose to carry concealed with para.

G22 with TLR-1 on night stand and G27 in my waist band. Yes I work them run through reloading drills and dry fire. I also swap out the loaded mags with extra empty mags after about 6 months. I shoot them both and I do not clean them really just a wipe down every now and then. Same here!

Nightstand - CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical
Carry - CZ P-07, Ruger SR9c or Detective Special depending on mood.
Rarely are they exercised or cleaned.
Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.

Marlin 55 S 12 ga next to the bed. Dad used it in his office to dissuade one robber at his office. I guess looking down that barrel was too much for the guy. In my home office - a Model 19 6" Carry gun is a PX4 Storm 9mm
