Does the moon affect turkey hunting like it does everything else? If so what is the best time to go, full moon or no moon? Thanks for the help

I don't know why it would affect them they sleep at night...
The best time to turkey hunt is during turkey season! Ok just being a SMART A there, but during season I go every chance I get, I can't really say one day is better than the rest, or a.m. is better than p.m..

Maybe someone will come along and tell you all about it. But for me the best time to hunt is, when you can!

no sir it doesn't have anything to do with what the turkeys will do the next day. That's my opinion.

I hunt turkey all the time during spring and the only way it effects hunting is if you are trying to get too close to the roost to set up for the morning. I have scared several turkey and had them fly off. Other than that, moon has no effect.

Speaking of moons and turkeys...

Me and a buddy were huntin turkey once... he scared one off by accident, and out of frustration he mooned the fleeing turkey... needless to say... Thanksgiving will never be the same for me. lol
