I took my lab to Coit North Vet at Coit and McDermott about 3 months ago. I live about a mile from it and they had Sentinel, which she seems to do the best with, so I gave them a try.
Real nice staff and doctor. I told the doc that I only give heartworm meds 6 months out of the year and he actually was cool about it -- I've been lectured before, so I thought it was a good test. They spent their time with her -- didn't feel rushed at all. She's a people dog and wants to be everyone's friend, until the shots and toe nail clippings come, then she's hiding behind me. He handled her really well and didn't want my help holding her while doing it. Very impressed by that as his assistant was a young, maybe 20-22 year old woman pushing maybe 100lbs. He was able to put her ease. My lab is just past 6years but has the energy of a 2year, so keeping her calm while giving shots and toe nail clippings has always been hard. After the test results came back, he talked to me for a good 10 minutes even though they were all clear, he just wanted to chat and get to know us. I've been in vets offices before that were more like drive throughs, so I was pleasantly surprised.
For her rabies renewal, yearly checkup and shots, and 6 months of Sentinel it was just at $200. Very happy with the service they provided, so I'd recommend them. I'll be going back once it's time.

If you want to go a little west of McKinney. Dr. Ed Aycock is in Lewisville. Highly regarded vet and field trialer.

Dr. Hunter and Dr. Bilhartz at Lazy Paw in Frisco have been awesome for my black lab the last 9 years.
Yeah, don't listen to me. I'm just an idiot.
Lol. Duckbill that was funny! The dude up top has already taken lots of bone before this deer, both mule and whitetail.

I use Dr. Steve Pirkey over in Murphy just east of you. He has done some amazing things for my dogs and horses in the past. I highly recommend him.

I second thecloudx. I take my setter to coit north. Dr. Lovell also sees my brothers/sister-in-laws, parents, and neighbors pups. They do lifetime vaccinations and all you do is pay for the visit. Super friendly and I figure I would enroll him in the vaccination program due to his high level of activity. coir north is also extremely clean too.
