Looking for some insight on places a group of Indiana bowhunters can go to hunt hogs. Over the last 15 years we have hunted day leases around Hondo and a day lease ranch near Omaha,tx. What guidance can I get from hunters, ranchers on a spot that 4 out of state bowhunters can spend 4-5 days without busting the bank? Thanks for any informant or help.

Thanks for the views. I guess I should have been clearer in my first post. Is there a day lease ranch in north or east Texas ( closer for us) that you can recommend for hogs? Thanks

Not to discourage you by any means, I hunt in Cass county and we aren't seeing anywhere close to the number of hogs we have in the past. Not sure if all of NE Texas has been this way, maybe it's just our area. Not sure if your looking for high fence or low fence either

I can set you up on my place
but they're mostly nocturnal so I don't know how that's going to fit your bow hunting arsenal

Rickym, I live in Cass county Indiana and there are no hogs here except in confinement barns. I would hunt high or low fence. I guess we make as much out of the time spent hunting as we do the game taken.

Try Shiloh in Ok. Even closer to you. Or No Mercy. Big Oak Bowhunting is another. It's in NE Texas. All have websites and all have hogs. Don't know the prices cause I haven't hunted hogs on other's property. I have enough hogs I need to kill on my own places, but like everyone else, mine are nocturnal, and I ain't !

I can hook you up. Maybe not this year, but next spring. Unless you want to come in the next 2 or 3 weeks. That's about how long our feeders will be still feeding. The cost is only $150 per hunter for the entire hunt and you can shoot as many as you want. Most of my stands are set up for bow. Just had a guy from here bring his son out this past weekend and he ended up killing 2 100+lb hogs. Must warn you, it gets real hot down in that bottom!!
