With my current situation on dialysis and having low blood pressure after treatment and for the remainder of the day, I don't want to pass this dove season by unless the weakness makes it impossible for me to go.

My question is, do any of you know of a dove guide service that will drop you off at the location (place you on the ground by means of UTV or truck) and have a helper or guide service assistant be with you for the hunt to pick up birds and bring you back to your vehicle? I know this is asking for a lot, but this would be the only way I would be able to hunt this season, waterfowl included.
When I went with Waterfowl Specialties last year, they brought many groups by UTV that were hunting farther out in the field or had other complications. They took me out and dropped my at a spot where I hunted and picked up my birds which was fine since I was in good shape. But I doubt I could walk the stubble fields now or any field to pick up birds unless I had someone there getting those with me. Not saying I won't be better and have more strength by then, but I'd hate not to have a reservation for a hunt and it passes me by. I know my body tells me when I had enough, because I get light-headed and my legs go out underneath me. My right hip has a tendency to dislocate since I have dual hip replacements and it had done so in the past 5 times since 2001 but not since 2012.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, but if God wants me to dove and waterfowl hunt, he will give the sign so I don't get into trouble with my current health.

If timing works out right outside work, helping take care of an alzheimers parent, and not already hunting somewhere else that day, I would be more than happy to come hang out or hunt with you on a hunt or two to take care off all that.

Kyotee, my work schedule is flexible, let me know what you'd like to hunt and when and I'll take care of the rest. I'm not a guide, but I enjoy seeing others having a good hunt almost as much as I enjoy having a good hunt myself.

If you have any concerns or worries that you'd be a burden don't worry about it. I'm a caregiver for my brother inlaw who has late stage MS. His disability has advanced to the point that he is functionally a quadraplegic. He has limited use of one hand and his neck but he cannot sit upright or hold his head up. He's a bit of a pissant when I put him to bed, takes a few minutes to get him situated where he's comfortable. Once he's in the sack he's stuck in that position all night long until morning. Initially, I thought he was a rude, inconsiderate [censored] and control freak but now I understand how important it is to get him comfortable. If it takes 30 minutes of moving him around until he's comfortable, so be it. Walking into his room in the morning to get him up, seeing him moaning and crying in his sleep from severe muscle cramps and discomfort from laying in one position all night long, was a humbling experience. And I'll spend as much time as it takes to ensure he gets a good nights rest.

I never thought I'd be taking care of a 60 yo man who can't even wipe his own hiney, but it's made me a better person for it. He's stout, was a college athlete, 6' 4' tall, 290lbs. It takes patience to assist a large man who's disabled but once you learn the nuances it's not that difficult.

Regarding your health, I'm sure we can work around any special needs, concerns, issues that could arise out on a hunt. Let mwe know what you'd like to hunt and when and we'll make it happen. Gratis.

Like I said in my email. If you can get down here we will help you out on the hunt. We can get most places in a truck or UTV. We have been talking about hunting together for years but have never connected. I hope you can make it, if so I would love to have you down here.
