I hunted allot this year that down that way. Lots of Hogs and Few Deer.....

A girlfriend of mine's parents live down there and have a small place...her husband set up a couple feeders, and they have seen a few good deer, and hogs....think it depends on the individual place....down in that part of the country!

Smiley lease was a no go i was told it was 300ac. but it turned out to be only 220ac. ether way it was to small for 5 guns and to much money (6k) It did have a lot of deer and a ton of hogs and birds.....Thanks for all ya`lls help!

sorry to hear that friend!!! dont give up on gonzales county, a bud of mine has 150 and 160 class bucks on his place!!!! they are to tame to hunt though, u can sit on a bucket 20yrds away after you call them up with a bucket of corn. funny thing is, these bucks never got protien, and were never pen raised, all wild, and only supplemented w/ corn. last yr he stopped hunting because they just are to easy..... ill try to find some pics!
