Anyone have good luck with the DIY type coon traps? I have about 8 really well fed raccoons showing up on camera that need to disappear and we need to get as many as possible in one weekend. The Duke traps looks great but we need about 10 traps and pvc is far less expensive. Same time so is saving corn. Thoughts?

5 Duke traps would be plenty. Catch 4-5 this trip, the rest later. You know you are going to need them again in the future anyway. Might as well get something simple...that works well.

And will outlast the pvc by a mile.

Dog proof traps are the best way to go, dukes or any other brand name ones.
