What combo gun/choke do you use. I shoot a Mossberg 835 with a mad max choke.

Remington Youth 870 20ga, Remington Super Full Choke, and TSS 1 5/8oz hand rolled #9.5's! I watched my first gobbler get taken down with TSS Saturday. That is some bad medicine.

That is some bad medicine. I was very skeptical when I started with 7's let alone the 9.5's I have now. It didn't take too many trigger pulls to convince me. The beauty of the shot is being able to use subguages with just as good of a pattern and effective range as the 12 for much less kick and a much lighter smaller gun.

Youth 20ga 870, same load except #9s. Using .565 compnchoke, probably open it up more in the offseason. #7 heavyweights for the follow up. The heavyweights are great shells but I enjoy tinkering w the reloads.

Old remington 870. As it was when I got it. Standard full choke with a load of #5's. Killed many a turkey with it over the years.

I am probably going to buy a 870 super mag tomorrow and top it out with a Primos Jelly head. I have a trip planned to Kentucky in a couple weeks and I need something to try out.

Correction I could not find the 870 that I wanted yesterday so instead I purchased a Stoger 3500 and toped it with a Primos Jelly head. I got to break it in on a south Louisiana gobbler this morning.
