 dent in brass

so I was at the range and I was picking up some range gold and found some .223. when I got home and was inspecting the brass i noticed the .223 brass had a dent in almost every piece. looked like there was a point that the brass was hiding the frame when it was being ejected. would you still reload it or just toss it? Is safe to reload with a small dent in the brass? The dent is just below the neck.

where is the dent? Body or shoulder.
I have loaded them with dents with no problems for me. Typically I will only reload them that one time though.

With the availability and price of .223 brass, I'd say toss it. I've seen some of it fired from full automatic weapons that have that "kiss," but I'd stay away from it if I were you.

It sounds like the dents are from being fired from an AR with a Brass Deflector.
The dents are common and should not be an issue.
If you size them, you will probably see that the dents are ironed out.
In my opinion, they are safe to load and shoot.
If you search more on the 'net, you will find more topics covering this.
But.... if for any reason you are worried about a piece of brass, pass it buy.
As mentioned, you aren't out any serious cash.

If you're shooting an ar the instant you shoot the dent will come out but in the blink of your eye it will hit the brass deflector and put a new dent back in.  I've not had any issues with this.

Unless you're over gassed and it's ejecting at 2 o'clock.
