Do any of you have any experience deer hunting in Arkansas? I have seen some leases and hunting clubs advertised on Craigs List,and some advertised in the Dallas Morning News. The prices are usually much lower than a TX lease. However, an out of state tag (350.00) is needed. The deer limit is up to six, depending on the zone.

I used to hunt Little River county in S.W. Arkansas, the state has several dates for gun, black powder, and archery which I beleive is open till the end of Feb. You have to either take your deer to a check station or log it in online. Killed several hogs and they have quite a few turkeys depending on location, several counties(zones) allow you to hunt with dogs during specific date range.
