Blaze shot his first bobcat with me a couple of years ago. Now he shot his first coyotes with me. Little learning curve since his first time calling during daytime and for coyotes. Had several to come in. At one stand he had one within 5 feet from him and he couldn't move since the yote was looking right at him. I shot one on the run with my new AR. All and all great day hunting. Blaze recalled the time we were calling at night and an owl came in and knocked by headlamp off. I turned around and all I saw were wings flapping.

Congrats to him, I love seeing youngsters connect on their first predators. Such a very different experience for them than sitting in a blind shooting deer.

He was using a custom made 220 swift. I was using AR 223. He was opening them up for sure.
