Give him a couple days. He hunts in areas that have limited cell service or none at all. I will let him know your trying to get in touch with him.

He sent me a message and still haven't been able to get ahold of him! I hear if he's on a ranch almost impossible to get ahold of till he gets to town

I've spoken to someone that told me they had talked with Cody a couple of days ago, so I am not sure what's going on. I have not heard from Cody yet.

Yep I'm suppose to leave tomorrow to idk where lol. Don't even know if they have lodging etc! Called his number more then enough, texted and even Facebookes no answer yet

I got a text from Cody over the weekend that said he was on a hunt in Mexico, and that he would call me on Monday. I didn't get a call from him.

Well my hunt pretty much got canceled. Never once was called only texted and Facebooked! Was first told fredricksburg. So the wife and I got a place to stay the night and then the night before I got a text and said he was in Laredo and would call but never did! As a guide I do my best to talk to my clients a few days before and the day before etc!

I was contacted by some others that are having the same problem with the he guy! Definetly will not be planning a trip with them ever again!

This was a wedding anniversary gift for my wife and I! Months of planning turned to crap the day before now we're doing jack sh!t !

It's fine! I'm going to stick to Billy Whitley with Rolling Bone Outfitters! That guy is a great guide and has amazing animals!

I had sent a PM to rborn about my bad experience with Cody, and saw no reason to make it public on the forum, until more stuff started coming out about similar experiences. I had the exact same thing happen to me in Jan. 2014 -- I scheduled a doe/cull hunt for a particular day, and then waited for the details on deposit, where/when to show up, what to bring, etc. As the date closed in and I hadn't heard anything, I tried several times and in several ways to get ahold of Cody, to no avail. The scheduled day came and passed and no hunt happened. When I finally got him afterward, he was not apologetic at all.

As I told the OP, a lot of people on THF have really good things to say about Cody. But I'll never book anything with him again after the disregard he showed me.

I do not abide nor understand men that seemingly cannot or will not do what they say they will do.

He has not done this to me, but we've had a run in on here. I have had a fishing guide do a similar thing to me and my wife at Port O'Connor. (NOT TxDuck24.) Drove all the way down there, got a place to stay, and he gets me mixed up with somebody else on a call, obviously double booked, then starts bs about the weather, when everyone else is heading out. It's the lowest and sleazy.

I thought Diane, AKA "Guadalupe Outfitters" was handling the bookings?

When I hunted with them in Oct, Diane had mentioned something about, while she loved being a hunt coordinator, she needed to find a job that had medical benefits. I have no idea what the situation is, but I suspect, she's no longer involved.

Maybe some of you guys should get a lawyer.

I checked and she has not posted anything since 11/02/2015 so guessing she got a better offer.

Diane hasn't worked for him for months now.
