Giving the birds time to group up we got the dog back to the truck for treatment, food and water and a dry dog box. Retelling flushes from the previous hunt while doing some quality control tasting of a few Lonestars we realized we were being surrounded. Amazing what a little rain will do for the scrub brush.

Everything aligned except that rotgut beer. Should have had a Heinekens.

Everything aligned except that rotgut beer. Should have had a Heinekens. Maybe the most creamy, delicious beer I ever drank was fresh Heinekens in Amsterdam. When I've tried it here, it always tasted skunked. I don't know why.

What a beautiful sound. I could go to sleep listening to that. I can drink Lonestar. Did for the time I was down in the Valley in 1974. Heinekins back in the 70's in the green keg bottle was okay but then any beer cold is good except for Sam Adams.   Tasted like recycled beer. One sip and gave the whole six pack away. Natty Lite is my go to.
