It will be branded under Crosman’s premier hunting label, Benjamin Airguns, and available in Spring 2016 for $849 MSRP. A bonus Realtree AP® camo decal kit will be included so owners can decorate the Airbow to their tastes. Wonder if it will be legal in Texas to hunt deer with or just for pigs and varmints? I remember they were selling a rifle/bow a few years ago that was fired with blanks a 22cal version and a .223 version that got close to 1000fps. Wish I had bought one when they were for sale. have not seen the blank version in a few years. According to the Crossman site its legal for varmint hunting in Texas now nothing about whitetails. That looks like a lot of fun. I want to top it with a red dot sight.

The air gun regulations don't mention the type of projectile they shoot. Just propulsion. IDK. It will be interesting. But then, change always is.

I saw a video where Shockey shot a bison with it. It said it shoots an arrow/bolt at 450fps!

Air guns that reach at least 600 feet per second are legal for squirrel hunting. Other than that, you can hunt non game non protected species with them. The issue in Texas is, there are very few public hunting areas where you can even possess an air rifle legally. On private land/leases, no problems.
