Bill's Burgers, Wings & Things on hwy 29 (2 blocks west of hwy 281) in Burnet makes some pretty dang good burgers ... fries & onion rings too.

Wenzel Lonestar Meat in Hamilton TX the bision bacon burger is the best non homemade burger I have ever tried.

BJ's chain has some decent burgers.
Just to name a few. Also check Giant Burger in Rhome, and Tater Junction, just west a couple miles on 114. I stopped by Giant Burger per your recommendation, I have nothing good to say about it. Will try Tater Junction next time

I forgot about one....it may be the best I have had....just been awhile though....
Jucy's Burgers in Longview is mighty fine. I sure miss the one they had in Mesquite. I remember the one in Mesquite. I loved that place!

A new place in San Angelo called the "Twisted Root" is supposed to be really good. But hard to rate new place, what they start out with and end up doing 6 months or a year later are usually different.
 the local ones to DFW are terrible The one in Roanoke is pretty good...If they will just turn the Music Down so you can hear yourself  Most of the time you as the manager and they will lower it a decibel or two Wife & I tried the Twisted Root in Deep Ellum, it was just okay. Like Big Pig, we enjoy the Angry Dog although the last couple of times they seemed to be just good, not real good? Like Mr. Oxner has previously stated, the best burger is cooked on my Weber over Mesquite wood

Al's in Arlington double meat and cheese with griddled onions is quite good.

Anyone eaten at Keller's lately? Dad used to take me as a youngster and I thought it was good.
Is it still open? Yes it's still open. Go see old snag blue tooth and grab a burger and a beer. Hell last time I was there watched 2 girls fight in the parking lot.. Slapping each other hair pulling hitting and screaming about her cheating on her the hole time! 😄
