Draw I scouted this morning.  This is the view for my evening hunt. Sitting over looking a couple miles of Little Amarillo Creek Canyon

Partial sucess. Got some venison for the freezer! Now I have one more morning to add a buck to the trip.

Big boy didn't show today, but it was still a nice hunt.  despite the cold and unusual access rules I would go again if drawn. Definatly quality bucks to be had. The BLM Mnager and Biologist running the hunt are nice guys and were open to suggestions to improve it next year. I also met THFer 060swt (Steve from Lake Highlands). Hope to do some dove hunting this fall with him.

Cross Bar Biologist was kind enough to send me this pic of the buck I decided not to shoot new years eve. Hindsight is 20/20. Sure wish I'd have pulled the trigger.
