The way I read it it is that it's like regular season for youth and antler less and spike for adults

It just depends on the county, for example in Navarro co. its just for youth hunters, in Coryell co. adults can only shoot does or spikes (has to be true spikes, three pointers and up are off limits), for Bastrop co. adults must use a muzzleloader but general season rules apply so you can still a bigger buck as long as it meats the antler restrictions. Read your outdoor annual.

i was told there was no extend hunting for adults in corryel or that my just be ft hood I have no problem going after a spike or doe the hood is open I tried to read the book but just got more con fused i just did a search and it read it it extend for true spike and does only in 20 counties

Coryell does have extended doe/spike, fort hood being a military base sets their own quota on how many deer can be taken out each year, once their units are shot out season is over.

La Salle county has the extended season. We are going to put a dent in the spikes.

In Eastland county there is a late season, January 4-17, for youths who can kill does spikes bucks over 13 inches, and for adults who can kill does and spikes during that same time period.

Our place is archery only, can we use archery equipment during the muzzle loader season? I think not but would like to hear some other opinions.

I hunt Falls county late youth season only and Bell county I-35 splits the sides my side has a late doe and spike season the other side does not.
