Update: So I hunted this deer hard for the last 2 months and never saw him during shooting hours. He was hitting 3 different stands that are all over a 1000 yards from each other. I started going back through all the game pictures I had of him during daylight hours and noted the times and days and then researched the tempature that day and everytime he was showing up in the morning during the day it was below freezing. There were a couple of days that I hunted that I just picked the wrong stand out of the 3, go figure.

I found both of these on February 19th under one feeder and according to the game camera pictures he shed them both on the evening of February 18th.

Now I have a game plan for him this upcoming season and hopefully he will continue hitting the same feeders and will put on some more inches.

I never scored them, I am currently in the Bakken and will measure them when I get back down to the lease in a few weeks.

You did a good job patterning that buck. What a rewarding hunt it will be when you take him!

Dropped the antlers off with my Taxi and he scored them at 156, not to bad for a low fence east texas buck.

I Feed Indian Corn. The deer love it and all the colors make them stay at the feeder longer.

After having no pictures of Mr. Brow Tines at any of the 5 feeders he was hitting last year, I was starting to wonder if he had not traveled off our lease and maybe would be back after the rut again. One of the other members on our lease sent me a picture he had of him from a few weeks ago so I knew he was at least still in the area. I had one of my buddies put a camera up on a feeder we had not been monitoring on the morning of November the 6th we pulled the card on November the 8th between 12:45 and 1 pm and low and behold Mr. Brow Tines was there on November 6th from 5:40 pm til about 7 pm, no other pics of him though. So I decided I would head to that stand and got in and settled about 2:30 pm and around 4:10 pm Mr. Brow Tines pops up at the tree line coming up out of draw about 60 yards from the stand I was sitting in. He never looked at the feeder or the stand and was walking across the shooting lane headed to a scrape line that he had been working (found these after I shot him). The 300wm hit its mark and dropped him in his tracks. Needless to say I was super pumped and could not wait to see how much he had grown in a years time. He had put on 4 new points, almost 14 inches of bone. The taxidermist scored him at 170 5/8 and he was 156 6/8 last year by his sheds. By far the largest buck I have ever killed, taken in Anderson County.
