Looking at maybe trying one this next season. Just wondering if anyone had been there to try it out before. It's close! I've been to Oregon before that's a drive. Any success stories or horror stories.thanks yall.

Went there with a friend that lived up there. You better be quick, as all the tags usually get filled with in the first 2 days. They have a certain number that can be killed that year, and you are required to check in at a checking station upon taking a bear. There was a website that was updated almost hourly wit the number of remaing bears to be taken. He got his the first morning.

I believe the season ended in 1.5 days of archery season, not sure if they ever had a rifle season

Dang. That's fast. I know it ends fast in Oklahoma. No wonder some of those sites had a free bear hunt with cabin rental!!!

We hunt deer in SE Oklahoma. They come around every September and stay for a few weeks up to a month. I personally would not buy a tag for my lease unless I had one on camera. They will destroy your feeder unless you can winch it up in a tree. I have no information on baiting sites we use deer corn for deer and they eat that for awhile

I hunt NW AR (bear zone 1) and the quota was 205 and fills every year within the first couple days of archery season. Bear zone 2 had no quota this year and there are tons of bear in this area. I believe there are some guides in the Mena, AR area and thats where I'd start my search. http://www.agfc.com/hunting/Pages/HuntingBearZones.aspx

My cousin lives in Ozark and killed one 2 years ago
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.
