We were lucky to lease the same ranch for over 30 years. LO said deer management was up to us. It took us 10 years to finally start shooting "wall hangers". In the early years, we had several members bring guests and let them use the "If it's brown, it's down" deer management rule. Seven of us bought a ranch three years ago. We use game cameras to determine cull bucks. All wall hangers get a free pass until we get the herd where we want it to be.

The land owner does not want us shooting deer or coots. It's a duck lease.

The guy running our place is an absolute arshole!
