Anyone have this page from this version of the Nosler reloading manual? If you do, I would greatly appreciate a copy of it. I asked Nosler about reloading 35180 bullets for .357 Max, and they replied with the page number and version, but the only data they provided was Max COAL. All the best, Glenn

Thanks Chad.
I have that one. I actually have their #7 reloading manual, and it has the same data as on that page - only for the 158 grain offering.
They discontinued the bullet I'm looking for. It used to be listed in the #5 manual. That's why I'm specifically looking for that version and page. There are many 180 grain bullets from various manufacturers, and I compared the data from them. It's got a pretty good range of powder (grain) recommendations, although the recommended seating depth is fairly close on many of them. Quite a few have you load to 1.890", which is what I ended up going with. That puts it right in the middle of the cannelure. I just want the page for reference and verification.
All the best, Glenn

Think you meant page 594..give me a min to upload pic Sorry. I was going by what he sent me. He wrote (cut and pasted): "I found load data for that in the #5 manual page 294. SAAMI C.O.A.L Max 1.990" Thanks for posting it. Was there a separate section in that book for single-shot pistols for that round (TC Encore / Contender)? Were there any seating recommendations besides the max C.O.A.L.? Thanks! All the best, Glenn

I find it funny (and a bit scary) that the Minimum load of both H110 and H4227 on the "Nosler Quick Data" card that was in the factory box (and those are the only two loads listed) is MORE than the Maximum amount in that version of the reloading manual!
The Quick Data card for .357 Rem Max shows:
For H110: Max: 18.5 gr. Velocity: 1535 fps Min: 17.5 gr. Velocity: 1361 fps
For H4227: Max: 17.5 gr. Velocity: 1405 fps Min: 16.5 gr. Velocity: 1268 fps
Thanks for posting! I greatly appreciate it!
All the best, Glenn

Are you loading for a Contender or revolver. Got a tip from Frank Smith years ago about the flame cutting to the backstrap of the revolvers to use an extruded powder and it will help ward against that issue. Mine gets a diet of AA5744 18gr with the 180gr partition for the Ruger.
When I had a Mad-Max contender it got the same load keeping things safe

In those 2 you can follow the higher pressure loads and make the Mad Max shine. Great round and the 180 Partition is my favorite hunting .357 bullet.
Talk about make a quick mess of a hog as it passes through, load it around 2900 to 3000fps from a 350 Remington Mag or 35 Wheelen makes for a thumper.
