My son and I will be hunting south of Junction the week after Christmas. There are only about 5 hotels in Junction. Anybody stayed in any of them? We want to go as cheap as we can, but want it to be decent. Thanks!

Best Western or America's Best Value motels are both in Junction and well rated. Make a reservation.

I've stayed at the Best Western in Junction for work a couple of times, and it was fine. I remember the wifi not being great, but there was nothing wrong with the room.

Those two motels I mentioned had almost 9 out of 10 in ratings over many guests.

I always liked the Days Inn because of the location, but it sounds like it has really gone downhill the last few years and possibly through a couple of ownership changes as well and not for the better

Unfortunately, the Best Western is the only place you don't have to wear shower shoes in now In Junction. It is nice for about $100 a night with a real breakfast and all.
Everything place else is owned by Ragheads and is gross. Days inn was the last victim. It went to the dumps with in a year of the "new mgmt"
The old school places in town like Sun Valley and The Hills used to be cool vintage 50's and 60's places but now they smell like curry and BO and you need a penicillin shot to take a dump.

When Junction burned in 2012 we had to evacuate our place. Stayed at the cabins on 377 south of the State Park. They were nice. Not sure of the name.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.
