Is anyone having any luck up around the Clarksville Texas area. We have hunted a couple of time around there and have not seen much action at all other than a little spike we took. What have you seen? Any rut activity?

I hunt south of Clarksville around Bogata. We have 2 places we hunt and zero activity. I sat all day yesterday and saw 3 doe.

I am hunting north of Clarksville. Since the flood 2 weeks ago they are not moving at all. Not even hogs. Sitting watching crows eat my corn this morning.

Same here... North of Clarksville and have only seen a few does on camera for the last few weeks. Hoping this cold front changes things. Taking my son out this weekend.

I guess we are going to need a hard freeze for things to pick up.

Yeah, corn is stacking up on my feeders. Need a strong cold front I guess.

ive hunted red river county for several years(30) and you guys should see improvements next week for sure. At both my places the bucks really start chsing the week of thanksgiving which is also the weekend you can shoot a doe. Best of luck fellas

I had a young 6 point come out at 3:30 this afternoon then an older 5 point right at dark. Hope to see the big boys in the morning.

I hunt north east of Clarksville. I saw 5 doe yesterday night, 3 doe and 2 young bucks this morning, and nothing yet this evening.

Has anyone had any luck yet. I have been here since last Thursday and have seen 3 doe and quite a few smaller bucks but no shooters yet.

I saw a doe running hard last Friday and then a saw a 4 point hot on her tail or trail.

This past weekend most does we saw were being chased, the bucks all have fat and puffy necks. Exciting times.

Drove from Cooper to Greenville yesterday. I left the house at 8:00 AM. I saw three different groups of deer. Each of them was bucks chasing does. I saw the last ones at 10:40 AM. If I had a place to hunt I'd stay on the stand all day right now.

My son almost hit a big buck between Cooper and Commerce today at 12:45 PM.

Been hunting since yesterday morning lots of rain. Haven't seen anything.

I took a big spike thanksgiving afternoon. I hunted yesterday and this morning and have seen nothing. Headed home this afternoon. Good luck.

Haven't seen any does but I've seen quite a few smaller young bucks on the move

Went this weekend and did not see anything until yesterday. Saw a small 4x4 that did not make the slot. Also saw a large body buck at first light but could not make out rack size before he vanished in the brush. Had a buddy take a nice buck a couple of miles away.

Saw lots of younger bucks, had a young 8 that I let walk. Had a big 5 that I was going to let my buddy shoot but it was moving too fast to get a bead on. Did not see 1 doe. Luckily we have a lamps tag to get one later in the season.
