If you had to go the rest of your life and were only allowed 2 guns. Which 2 would you choose? All-inclusive...these are going to be used for hunting, personal protection, target shooting, showing to your buddies...
Price doesn't matter. Whatcha got?

http://www.battletanks.com/m2_bradley.htm Well, OK, I couldn't maintain one of those anyway. But to the question, I think a simple style of shotgun, and a revolver in centerfire range, might be a reliable kit?

Remington 700 30-06 and 870 12 gauge pump shotgun. Would take rifle in several other brands but kept simple, bolt action and same with 12 gauge but keep in pump configuration. Both offer a large range of loads and are a simple and dependable design.

My 12g 870 ExMag and my .243. I would have chose my 30.06 for the rifle but I have too many shoulder problems. Good question though. I used to tell people that there is nothing that can not be hunted on this continent with either a 12g, .22 LR or 30.06 and its multitude of bullet sizes.

My Remington 870 Pump and Stag M4 in 5.56. You can use both for hunting as well as personal protection. If my life depended on it, I would rather take my chances with a shotgun loaded with 00/slug or my AR.

.30-06 and .22 (or maybe 12ga) if it's about meat.

Ruger Single Six with interchangeable cylinders (.22 mag/.22 lr) and a Remington 870 12ga. With those two guns and a pile of ammo, you could take on anything in the woods...

After further consideration if I were allowed only 2 guns I would have a 22 auto rifle or 2, a 243 bolt action a 270 bolt action a 7mm mag bolt a 338 win mag, 2 or 3 ar-15s in 223 various configurations, possibly another ar in 6.8 an ar10 in a couple of models, I've always liked the mini 30 ranch rifle and the 7.65x39 ammo is cheap and available. I guess I would probably want a 50BMG. Gotta have 2 shotguns, say the 12 gauge 870 mabe an over and under in 12 and a couple of 20s would be good too, probably in pump, and if I were only regulated to 2 I'd have to make 1 a 9mm pistol maybe a couple of 40 caliber and a couple of 380s to hide in my socks if the firearm police came to call to check on my 2 firearms. I don't see how I could over look the 45 acp or the keltec p9 either both 2 good pistols. I think the Bradley is also an excellent weapon. Those would be my 2 top picks.

Is this two gun limit because of : 1)Obama 2)SHTF 3)TEOTWAWKI (took me awhile to figure that one out on those "other" sites) 4)Zombies (another popular scenario on other sites)or 5)none/all of the above Just wondering as that might influence my choices...
