Making it official:

I have 10-15 Red Deer hinds I need to thin out. The hunt would consist of you showing up to my ranch (located in the hill country, bandera area) and hopping in the ranch truck. We would drive out and spot the animal, you shoot it, you field dress it on sight or at the cleaning station, you load it into your vehicle (ice machine available) and you would have some meat for your fridge. The hunt will last as long as it takes to do the deed, (not past dark) and the animals are in a 400 acre high fence, but are usually easy to find. Could be as short as an hour from the time you arrive. You are responsible for your own food/drink etc. Would like to have a party of no more than two people and would prefer that at least one person not be a newb, dont want to babysit. Only avail on weekends but would need to be scheduled at least 1 week in advance and could do either Sat or Sun weather permitting until animals are taken. Price is $500 per animal. No charge if for some reason you dont get one, but if blood is drawn the fee applies.

Taking vacation 1st week of deer season so I can do 2 hunts for the week either 11/9, 11/10, 11/11 or 11/13.

After that weekend dates are avail starting 1/9/16.

Disclaimer: I am not a guide but I will accompany you for the hunt to ID the animal, help load, etc. I am a novice hunter that inherited the family property that was set up as a hunting ranch and all the animals that came with it. This is simply a way to reduce our expenses and generate some money to pay the taxes and you to have the experience of the hunt and get some good meat for the fridge.

I would prefer to talk to you in person first to make sure you arent a physco and I will take a picture of photo ID and sign a waiver/agreement/contract that I will write out, nothing weird, just all the basics of having a stranger with guns out to your property.

Ive gotten a lot of questions so I want to address a few things. As you know, ANYTHING is possible. We could bow hunt, rifle, open sights, sit 500yrds away, helicopter, jump out of a tree with a knife or spear etc. BUT the reality is all that requires more time and set up than I have available. My intention was just an in and out meat hunt that wont take up all my weekends, as a working stiff that is the only time I have with my family.

With that said if this works out I may make a little more time to do more involved outings as we do have other animals and it could be a good way to take some of the pressure off of us financially.

If someone wants to bowhunt and bring out a little pop up blind, we can set it up by the feeder no prob, maybe come out in after noon and do an evening bow hunt. Or if someone wants me to I can go buy a little one and have it set up so you can come out early morning and it'll be ready for when the feeder goes off. You can paypal me the money or whatever. If all else fails we can then shoot em.
