Got into a sounder of about 30 last night and was able to knock down 6. I'll try to post the video when I figure out how to edit it. Had to drag them almost two miles to a place to dispose of them....

Got a stringer full.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Now THAT'S what we like to see (multiple pigs down)! Good Job! But... I have a question about that rope arrangement. Is that a borrowed rope from the Water Ski show at Seaworld, or were you perhaps NOT a 'boyscout'? I'm kidding, you have to get them out...however you can. Flint.

Lots of meals there that could be eaten. Lots of meals....probably were. Coyotes and Buzzards get the majority of the ones I kill. 'Recycling' if you will. I only 'hasten' what nature had planned for them anyway. Whether humans, animals or insects make use of the resource, matters not to me. Just glad to see six more of these pests gone. Flint.

Didn't keep any of the meat form this weekend.....we managed to kill 12 between Thursday and Friday night and I plugged one while in the deer stand tonight. Every now and again we will keep a few. That rope has dragged tons of pigs the last few years! Hell of a lot easier than picking them up into the bed of the truck. Each land owner has a spot they tell us to dump them so we just drag them over and add to the piles.

Way to go! Hogs are just big, fat, vermin — except that they do have some tasty parts . . . so keep after 'em.

Anything listed as "non game" just gives folks an excuse to kill with no intention of consumption, I feel if deer were listed as non game the same folks would kill and throw them away to.

Once we get several freezers full of them,we just drag them off also. You may see it as a waste, but your not the one having to clean all the dead hogs either. I'd be more than happy to drop off a truck load at your house for you to gut/clean. The buzzards and yotes need to eat too!

I have 1200 acres full of them I kill them when I need too and I clean every one and me or someone I know eats everyone. I'm sorry I messed up this thread. I don't wanna hear I haven't seen the damage, I don't farm, blah blah. Non game is a built in excuse to not clean an animal period.

Dear Sir, PM me your phone number and I am happy to call each time we dispatch one of these vermin. Seriously...though, anyone who views this as 'waste' (CMC did not use that word), is quite likely not a land owner with a pig problem. Further...I submit, it is short sighted to take a position that the carcass is 'wasted' if not consumed by HUMANS. I think the totality of the situation must be known before summarily labeling (or suggesting) 'waste' has occurred simply because consumption did not. Just my .02 on it. Flint.

Nice job. We harvest what we want to eat and donate the rest to the buzzards and coyotes and whatever else wants to eat them. We're overrun with them and might shoot 10-20 in a weekend. No way I'm gutting and cleaning all of those.

That rope is a 700 lbs working weight harbor freight rope. 100 ft for $7. I doubled it up for the main line and the stringer lines have loops to slip around the hog heads. It's simple, cheap, and works everytime. A whole lot easier then dragging by hand.
