I had the same problem on my AR with a different mount. The don't have as much adjustment as a normal scope. I shimmed mine. Basically cut a shim from an aluminum can. Take the back scope ring off and slip that shim in between the lower of the mount and scope. I wanted mine as close to center as possible so I used more than one layer.

If that mount can be reversed, I'd try that. I've shimmed with pieces of aluminum can and it can be effective, but a few layers of electrical tape can be effective and a lot easier to use. Plus it won't mar the scope's finish.

The mount is not reversible. How many shims did you use?

After looking on the website all over and on Sightron webpage, they do not list how much internal adjustment there is on this scope. It shows that there are 60 and 60 number of clicks, but WTF is a click!!!??? Higher magnification scopes generally have less internal elevation. Cheaper scopes generally have less internal elevation. Add those 2 together, and there you go, less internal elevation. Like mentioned, a shim may be needed under the front mount. Also, a .014" thick shim is 20 MOA (20.94 inches) at 100 yards. So, calculate how much elevation you need, and shim it. It's not the best solution, but it should work if done correctly.
Windage and Elevation, 1 Click (H/V), mm@100m- Number of clicks, (H/V) 60/60

I believe the "clicks" are one MOA with this scope. It's all electronically done. Not a lot of resolution, but appropriate for its purpose.
The exact amount of correction you get is going to depend on the spacing between the front and rear rings, but those numbers should be close.

Under the front ring/base. Back about 20-30 years ago, shooters needed more elevation in their scope for longer range shooting, so they would insert a .014" shim under the rear scope base. Why .014"? .014" is right at 20 MOA at 100 yards. If you need less elevation (higher point of impact), you need to put the shim under the front.
To answer your question on what size of shim, I do not know. If you know the actual amount of internal elevation travel of your scope, we could figure it out. I would calculate what shim you would need to get the adjustment near the center of the elevation amount.

I think you'll want to raise the rear of the scope, not the front. Shim the rear base.

Its easy to get confused with this. I think of it as pointing the scope to where the rifle wants to shoot.

Its easy to get confused with this. I think of it as pointing the scope to where the rifle wants to shoot. I'm going to put a .005" piece of stainless shim stock in between the ring and the scope tube. I really don't like to do things this way but don't have a choice.

I had the same issue and mine was a lot further off than 2", more like 6" at 100 yards, the best solution is to get 20moa scope rings, I ended up getting some American defense QD, little pricy but worth every cent. http://www.americandefensemanufacturing.com/view/product/790/

Personally I think the DNZ mount is your problem. I'd try a good set of 30mm rings if it were my rifle.

I have stainless steel shim stock it comes in sheets 8.5"x 11". On hand i have .005" , .010" & .012" so I cut a strip to fit the bottom of the ring with the .005" stock its easy to cut with scissors. Placed it under scope and done.
