During the last ice event a few weeks back my brother-in-law, 13 year old nephew, and I decided to do a bow only pig hunt. In two days we took four pigs 106 lb, 110 lb, 160 lb, and a 210 lb. This is a photo of my nephew with his 160 pounder.  This is a photo of me and the 210 pounder.  We had a lot of excitement and fun that cold weekend. Jim

The 210lb pig looks like a Hampshire pig that someone let loose or it escaped someones pen. Good looking pigs. Looks like yall had lots of fun.

Good hogs, no way would I bow hunt hogs, needs heaps of guts, Have got a hog with a .17, but also seen at 22.250 blow up on a shoulder, no bull, as his dogs caught it afetr and the bullet didnt penetrate the mud and side plate on the hog. Once went and chased a hog, was in easy Bow hunting range once we met up, hit him good in the chest with the 30.06 and he treated it like a bee sting, I was panicking then so put two more in to drop him (the second two shots was wherever), scary stuff, all I could see is tusks, hogs are full on fun

Good job on the hogs with bows, I am going to try it sometime after I get a little more bow time. Congrats.

You are right on the money that is almost a pure bred hampshire look at the erect ears and complete stripe. Great pics and looked like a fun hunt

Hey Jim I'll give you a call tomorrow. I was pretty sure that's where you were hunting. Looks like you got sold a pig straight from the farm or sale barn!    I'll explain more when I talk to you. Either way, looks like you boys had a good time! And your right...I can shoot the BULL with the best of them!!!!
