Is this a mule deer? I think its a whitetail but my nephew thinks mule deer. It's in Kansas and I have not seen just this picture. Thanks for the help.

100% whitetail. What makes him think it's a mule deer? Short ears, antler configuration, coloration all say WT.

Whitetail. While I haven't seen many mule deer, I've yet to see one grow a rack like that without split g2s

all things point to Whitetail
