I think a 22 RF can is my next one to form-4. Pretty sure I have my mind made up on which one, but would like to hear what you guys have to say. Primary use would be rifle and not pistol. Minimal FRP is also a primary consideration, and also I want one that is pretty tough and will take some abuse.

Sparrow is a great can as well as the Spectre II. The only thing you have to look at is the thread length some rifles have issues with the thread as it is two long and hits the o-ring inside It will come with a spacer Use it if the suppressor does not bottom out on the barrel before hitting the O-ring or you can have issues

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting.......holy kaka.....What a Ride!

Make sure you get one that is rated for 17 HMR and 22 MAG so you can switch them up.

I'm pretty sure the Spectre II is what I am going to get. I really like everything I am hearing about the Dead Air Mask, but it hasn't been out long enough to see if it lives up to the hype or has any problems.

I have a $129 Huntertown Micro Guardian and and really impressed. On the FRP, if you spray a little water or aerosol lube in before the first round it will eliminate it.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I've had a sparrow for a while now and put 1000's of rounds through. No problems

I once drank muddy water out of a hoof print and was dang glad to get it.

I have the spectre 2 and element ii. Element feels to be half the weight but its almost twice as high as the spectre 2. For the price spectre 2 is hard to beat. I run the elemnt ii on my heavy bolt action savage and the spectre 2 on my light tacsol barrelled 10/22. Both sound the same to me.

I had planned on getting the Sparrow but then I came across a great deal on the Spectre II so that's what I went with. Works great on my bolt action and my semi pistol. I love it.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

Heck no I love the element ii also but it's at a cost compared to the spectre 2. The only regret I have is not buying them both sooner!
