This roadrunner approached my son when he stopped on his four-wheeler, then jumped right up there with him.  I came across this hognose snake while making my rounds. He was a little grumpy and went all cobra on me.   My biggest surprise was this little mulie buck that came out of the brush to check me out. I hadn't seen any mule deer on my place and was told there weren't any in the area. I guess they were wrong.   Really loving my place. I see something new every time I get out there.

Love roadrunners. I had a pair that would follow me when I cut the grass. Momma wasn't too fond as they ate the geckos around the house.
coffee spelled backwards is eeffoc. I don't give eeffoc until I have my morning coffee.

Roadrunner have to be some of the oddest birds personality wise. I had one come into the cab of my truck with me through the passenger window. Truck was idling and the radio was on.
He hopped around in the back seat then stood on the console and looked me eye to eye, then just left. Crazy crazy birds.
Great pics, love hog nose snakes.

Roadrunners are so cool. We have one we nicknamed Beep Beep that hangs around our cabin. He'll come up and check out what we are up to whenever we are out there. We have some mulies east of you in Knox county. They are definitely slowly expanding their range.
