Grampa shot doves w/this thing in the '50's... Id like to restore it and use it... it's way over 100 yrs old and needs lots care... looks like twist steel barrels and lotsa surface rust... I have a competent gunsmith near-by... will need chambers measured... thoughts? yes, I know it was built in Blk pwder era... but If I could get it re-done and proper loads built... how cool would that be?

Be careful. Age, rust and twist steel = possible disaster. Maybe sleeve it, but costly.

If it's a 12 ga, you can get low pressure 2.5" and 2.0" shells from RST. This assumes the shotgun is safe to shoot. http://www.rstshells.com
