I have a pretty decent internet connection. There is something about this site that creates an extremely irritating delay when navigating the site. I frequent several shooting and hunting forums, as well as a couple of work related sites... THF is the only one that behaves this way. The delay is a couple of seconds, to occasionally as much as 10 seconds, that navigation just freezes. That freeze always ends when the ad space on the left finally populates.

Even though I'm a paid member on the site, I do not mind the ads themselves, but the navigation freezes get under my skin.

Never had this issue......

Try using chrome web browser and install Adblock extension. It will get rid of the adds on the pages and chrome loads and works faster for me on this forum.
