I was thinking the same thing. I might take my chances on that one. Don't think he would be protected if he was in my presence.

If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

I bet hes closer than most think too Yep, as big as that guy is body-wise, he may actually make 13 inches. Anyway, I think I'd chance the fine with that ol' bruiser.

THIS is a buck that is unfortunately protected by the AR... This is exactly the scenario I've experienced with ar counties. Hunted lavaca county and watched 7 to 10 bucks like this over 3 years. Only seen one outside the ears, Frustrating

He just needs to grow up, perfect example of how AR restrictions are working. That is a very nice buck with A LOT of potential.

he's a youngster. Give him a chance and I bet you will be pleasantly surprised in a couple years. I'm not the biggest fan of the AR Restrictions, but this is a prime example of what they were put in place for. That buck does not "need" a dirt nap, but you might "want" to give him one...
I've seen bucks more mature than that one simply explode from one year to the next.
