Picked up this used motor kit for 100 bucks, motor still ran but I figured for another 100 bucks it was worth just swapping engines for a brand new one. Took about 20 minutes. Water test coming today.

I read your other post, I think I'm gonna build one of these for my canoe. I have a pelican that's not a flat stern but I can rig up a bracket for it. How do you like the Old Town? What does that motor and mud motor kit way?
