It may not mean much to some, but I saw four bobwhite quail running across my driveway into the woods this morning. I live in southeastern Polk County. I've haven't seen a live quail in East Texas since 1994 in Nacogdoches Co. I hope they make it.

That's great! We have been trying to revive them in Navarro county too.

Last year I have a small covey on the farm. They would hang out in one area. I saw them several times. I did my best to keep my dogs away from that area. I have not seen them this year yet. This was Van Zandt Co. I like Savage 338 have not seen or heard a Bobwhite call in over twenty years. We have lived on the farm for over 40 years.
