There's a flock of Monk Parakeets that live in my neighbor hood near downtown Houston. They make a lot of ruckus.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Nothing like wild parrots.. Pretty common I hear in Florida and along the coast, be neat to see them around

Hope you don't mind, I lightened up the first photo a bit. I have never seen the parrots or parakeets around here.

I see flocks of them flying up and down the coast when I'm at my buddy's place in San Leon. It's pretty neat.
Cast I have a short attention spa

Those things fly all around Austin, I see them on riverside dr. Seeing a neon green bird fly across the road will catch your attention.

There are a bunch in Del Valle. They are quite large, too. We have some in the radio tower where I work. One night an owl paid a visit! You should've heard the ruckus!

That's cool, there's thousands of green parakeets down in McAllen. They roost by the lowes on dove street if anyone ever goes down there it's quite the show. All the power lines lined up and trees full of em. They load up in the trees just like grackles do. Had some videos of em on an old phone, but I don't I can find anything now. Starting to become quite the nuisance down there for all the fruit tree farmers.

I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

Quaker Parrots, many where probably pets at some point in time and escaped their cage.

Starting to become quite the nuisance down there for all the fruit tree farmers. In my humble redneck opinion, when it comes to non birds of prey, the best looking bird in TX is the green jay. And even though I spent a lot of time in S Texas, getting good pics whenever I saw one eluded me. I chased a few one day for hours but they just wouldn't cooperate for a shot.
