Any thoughts on what would cause this type of injury? Coyote?

The two punctures kind of look like a bite?

With the wounds on both sides and the punctures, I'd guess it was a cat.

Could have been a Chupa driving a car on a gravel road.

Nah. It's not a chupa. They go for the neck. My guess is a sasquatch.

Last January, Camera date and time are not correct. Comanche County My guess would be that it was orphaned by a doe hunter. Orphaned fawns get picked on around a feeder by other does and get beat up looking from the constant pounding sometimes. That fawn could have even been run into the fence by another deer and then hung up in it (judging by the one panel that is bent already).

You say that... but thee are stranger things... Bad bullet expansion, think, .223 .243 6mm... or somebody shooting a FMJ...just zipped through. Look close, where the "sore" in the lost hair area is a little back and a little down from where you want to hit them. Heck maybe even a dumb @ss shooting with a practice tip arrow, hair loss due to infection... Its to perfect a wound right where ppl aim, and just miss... and on both sides. Cats leave long raking wounds with claws, these don't look like that.
