Why are most of the units closed
I went out to scout some but there's a closed sign on all te units I went to

LBJ not listed in booklet, or i missed it... Wildlife District Offices are: District 5 (903) 566-1626 & District 3 (325) 643-5977.. Or send Sniper John or Jeh7mmmag a PM oth are moderators & have info bout public hunting... Best wishes..

Read about it here http://www.fs.usda.gov/texas/ Apparently the flooding damaged roads there is a phone numbe at the bottom of the page.

So I am trying to figure out the layout of a few of the areas and the maps are... less then helpful. I was hoping maybe someone had a map that had like an overlay of the areas that are huntable, or maybe just one that will help me be able to determine the area boundaries.
So after reading the link it seems like the areas are all open to hunting but the roads are closed... which in MHO is actually probably a good thing in terms of hunting

Almost all access roads have been reopened at LBJ, there is only a few that have not been repaired.
