Well, it's finally time. After maintaining a fence we guess is darn near 50 years old it's time to do a full replacement. Looking for recommendations. Would need a rock drill and experience doing rougher hill country stuff. Pretty sizable job - about 6 miles. Stay-tite and pipe stays to replace the old cedar poles. Have a couple leads, but going to get a couple bids and look for recommendations. Appreciate any contacts y'all might have.

Steve Forrest at Sanderson has a really good fence in some pretty rough country. You might ask him who did his. there is a guy named Kenneth Welch here in Bandera also that does a good fence job.

Check with Twin Mountain Supply in San Angelo. They have been in the rual fence building business since before I was born and if they don't work in that area they will give you a lead to a reputable builder. Good Luck with your choice!
