It has been a rough few yrs being an LEO. I sympathize with you. I am gauging interest in a dove weekend hunt in West Texas. Our very own Hwy_Man has opened his 3,800 acre ranch to us. Mike is VERY pro-police and has extended again his place. We have hunted it in the past and limited out in a few minutes. We have also hunted it and not fared so well, truth.
Plenty of room to roam and lots of biways to set up on. One large pond on the ranch centrally located. The neighbors in the past have had sunflowers. Our best shooting was evenings as they were going to the neighbors fields. I am sharing this with another forum, please be advised of that. It will be strictly active and retired LEOs and their immediate families. If this is a good turnout I hope to continue the tradition for years on down. What do you say? Where-10 miles south of Big Spring
Facilities-none (no water or electricity), if you have an RV, tent etc your welcome to bring it and set up camp. Big Spring has numerous hotels in town and a short distance.
When-looking at the first weekend of the opener.
Cost-nothing, just BYOB and do your own cooking etc

I would really like to but my problem is my dog training now extends into September. It is hard for me to commit. My other problem "es me esposa". She dont get mad when I go hunting, she gets mad when I go without her. We hunt locally on the north opener and Freer for the south opener. As details develop I can be more committed.

My bad guys, my apologies. This is still on but I am changing the dates to September 11, 12 and 13th. My wife reminded me we were headed out of town for the Labor Day weekend. Again my apologies but........................let's do this
