Our ranch is MLD and we actually got 102 tags total. We have a ton of deer on the place. The two of us just like to shoot deer and don't trust anyone else to shoot the right deer unless they are with one of us. The other morning I whacked five does and had them gutted, skinned, and in the cooler in less than two hours.

We get a list of people who want some venison before the season starts. Then we deliver them as we shoot them. A lot of people who are on fixed income look forward to getting their deer every year.

Passed the biggest bucks we saw and didn't shoot does when we could have. Area land owners say they can't figure this year but we are seeing some good deer late and have better hopes for next year.

100 acres. me eight point. and nephew spike... His first deer!! 1 shot 1 kill first time to ever fire a gun besides his bb-gun. I was pumped to say the least!!

My partner and I took a total of four deer, three bucks and a doe. In addition to my buck, my partner took two, with one being a very freaky spike. He added a doe during the special four-day doe season for Houston county. We both saw more bucks this year than ever, several that we hope to see again next season on our small, 100 lease.

I also hunt on another 600 acre lease in the area but didn't take a single deer off of it.

I thought there would be a lot more does killed than bucks.

On 400 acres in Karnes County with 4 hunters, one trophy buck, one real old non-trophy cull buck, one old spike, 7 does by permit. Two of the four hunters only hunted one weekend.
