How many total deer did all people on your lease kill? List bucks and does separately and then give a total. Let's see what kind of dent this group made in the deer population. Also list the acreage that these deer were killed on and a rough location of your lease.
5 bucks, 23 does
28 deer total on 600 Hill Country acres

1700 ac. 10 hunters.
All saw deer, some missed, some passed. All but one buck culls / management.

on family land- 2 bucks... 1 trophy, 1 large spike (2 hunters, but I shot both.....we will not shoot does)
at my lease- when I left yesterday there had been 96 deer killed w/ 48 members on 12400 acres. 26 management bucks, 12 cull bucks and 58 does. There were still 14 management buck permits left and 3 cull buck....and 32 doe permits. There will probably be a few more does killed before season ends.

On my personal lease, 2 does, by 7 hunters, on 1200 acres. Foard Co
On RedneckMesiah's place there were 3 shot by 2 people; Red River Co.
Using TPWD's logic and statistical analysis.... that means there are 6 times more deer in Red River County than in Foard

We all were going to shoot a doe on the last weekend and I chose to bowhunt and never had any in range and the other hunters shot spikes instead of does (the does were not hitting the feeders very well the last weekend) Out of 4 hunters there, only 1 doe was seen on the last Sunday
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

New year on lease in Young county. 640 acres 4 hunters and no deer Saw plenty but none shot. Shot 1 pig and 2 coyotes.

Why would two hunters kill that many deer? I'm not critizing your way of hunting I'm really just curious. I'm sure it's a management thing or something. Still sounds excessive especially for only 2500acres. ofcouse I live/hunt in cass co. where I bet all members combined didn't see 40 different deer on our 1000ac lease. What did you do with all the meat?
