non-resident Elk license fee is $623
non-resident Deer license is $230
Mule Deer is on a $2,500 'Harvest Fee' basis during available season dates only.

The ranch we hunt on with Private Land Elk Tags is just under 5000 acres. Certainly not the largest ranch, but it receives very little hunting pressure and is absolutely located in the 'right place' for Bull Elk hunts. The ranch is surrounded by public land, flanked on 2 sides by a 15 year old wild fire scar (56,000 acres.) The ranch has a resident Cow Elk herds, and becomes a sanctuary to other Elk herds pressured by public land hunters. In terms of Private Land Elk Hunting, we are a smaller operation- only allowing 4 fully guided hunters on this property during each hunt.

We are also a Priority Use Permit holder on the 265,000 acre Santa Fe National Forest, and offer Wilderness Pack In Elk hunts to successful NM Draw License applicants. Ironically, we hunt only a very small portion of this vast area.

Elk Only- any 5 days between Nov. 13 and Dec. 31 (can possibly be combined with Mountain Lion)
